Experiences
Get up close with our friendly herd and discover the quiet charm of life on an alpaca farm. All our experiences are guided by a member of our team and are designed to be relaxed, interactive, and family-friendly.
Whether you're after a peaceful alpaca walk, a hands-on feeding session, or just a chance to meet the animals and ask questions- there's something for everyone at Thunder Mountain Acres.
Standard Tour (45 mins)
Farm Tour + Feeding the Alpacas
Enjoy a guided walk through our working farm, where you'll meet the alpacas and learn all about their personalities, habits, and care. Then, hand-feed the herd and snap a few photos along the way. A great introduction to alpacas- perfect for families and first-time visitors.
Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 5 years old don’t need a ticket but do need to be accompanied by a paying adult. Please email to confirm if there will be children under 5 attending, as we need to know a head count.
Add-On: Alpaca Walk (+15 min)
Take your experience a step further- literally! Join one of our alpacas on a gentle lead walk through our paddocks. A peaceful and surprisingly funny way to bond with these curious creatures.
Children under 12 must share an alpaca with an adult.
