Thunder Mountain Acres is the perfect place to host unique farm-based events tailored to your group's needs. From educational visits and community gatherings to special seasonal celebrations, we work with you to create memorable experiences with our gentle alpacas.
Featured Event: We have 6 cria (baby alpacas) this spring.
There is nothing more special than a baby and we have 6 this spring on the farm! We have a bay black boy named Legend, a beige boy named Dreamweaver, a multi colored boy named S'more (he looks like a graham cracker with marshmellow and chocolate), we have a chestnut brown boy named Sunrise (Sunny). a cinnamon colored girl named Gentle Rain, and our youngest fawn colored girl named Morning Melody. If we are quiet and gentle, we can hold a baby and even take a few pictures with these cuties.
Educational & Group Events
We regularly host visits for schools, universities, and community groups of all sizes. Our events are tailored to your group's interests and age level, whether it's a hands-on introduction to alpacas or a deep dive into animal care and farm life.
- Programs can be adjusted for different age groups- from activity-packed sessions with coloring and wordsearch books for younger children, to detailed discussions for college students.
- Recent visitors include veterinary students and large homeschool groups.
- Educational materials are provided as part of the experience.
